What about a stray dog? Just as a cat, stray dogs can be vicious. Be careful. If you determine the dog is friendly, take it to your local veterinarian or humane society to scan it for a microchip. Ask the person scanning if they can scan for all types of microchips. Some scanners only work for their own company's chip. Then you can place a free ad in local newspapers in most areas for found animals. |
