Between 10% and 15% of pets that seem healthy by physical exam alone, actually have underlying problems that we could detect by doing further testing. Early detection can help us treat or manage them before they threaten your pet's well being. Pets age faster than we do, so potential illnesses can sneak up on our pets before we're ready to expect them. "Middle age" for our pets can be as young as four years old!
