Our beloved Wendy is a loyal and devoted employee of 12 years now. She is most often found behind the front desk assisting a client on the phone with a wide range of knowledge on varying topics. Wendy was first a client here at Dorr Veterinary Clinic and found herself with a passion for the animals, that was too big to ignore. She made the career transition to incorporate veterinary care into her daily life and we won’t ever let her leave! Wendy is originally from Saginaw, MI and attended Valley Lutheran High School there. After graduating in 1993, she attended Central Michigan University for a bachelors degree with a focus on Communications, Management, and Psychology. She achieved this in 1997 and has gained experience along the way with a few employers, to develop her exceptional sales and management skills. Wendy is always willing to help and guide others. She is a valued and much appreciated team member.
Wendy is married to her husband Mark and they have a 10 year old son Tyler. She enjoys her time with them very much and greatly treasures it, as Mark is often away for his career in the Active National Guard. Wendy’s fur babies include a 12 year old, domestic medium haired cat named “Jack” and a sweet 2 year old male Australian Shepherd/Boarder-collie cross named “Thor.” Together this beautiful family enjoys deer hunting and camping. You may also find Wendy involved in the community, school and the Foundation for Ichthyosis and Related Skin Types (FIRST).
